A new version of the Sega Saturn Emulator for Windows, Daytona is my stand out game for this system, whats yours ?, here the news:
Sega Saturn emulator has been updated recently. Changes:
- MISC: Added configuration file.
- MISC: Implemented I18N.
- MISC: Rewrote the CUE parser.
- MISC: Implemented startup from command line.
- MISC: Implemented dragging and dropping files.
- SH2: Improved address mapping and mirroring.
- UI: Improved the user interface.
- VDP1: Fixed Jump Call/Return.
- M68K: Fixed TAS instruction, 3D Baseball is in-game (Not playable due to graphic issues).

Heres a WIP Version of the Sega Dreamcast emulator, if your a fan of the dreamcast try games like metropolis street racer and ferrari 355 if memory serves me right:
WIP version of Sega Dreamcast emulator has been released. Changes:
- ARM: DP immediate Carry little fix
- CAVE YMZ770: implemented main volume and clip control
- CAVE: Akai Katana added
- DX11: fixed Cave bilinear filter
- DX11OLD: fixed shader filter settings load
- GAELCO: improved ball mechanic simulation
- MISC: basic analogs simulation when playing from keyboard (arcade only)
- MISC: fixed Dreamcast game name handle
- NAOMI: Mushiking IV/V/VI added. A new card codes included (to change 4-5-6 game version go to game test mode BACKUP CLEAR and hold both players buttons 1 for 3 seconds).

News via Emurussia of a new release of the multi system emulator for windows:
Super Nintendo/GameBoy/GameBoy Color/GameBoy Advance/Sega Master System (Mark III)/Sega Game Gear/Sega Mega Drive (Genesis)/NEC PC Engine (Turbografx-16) emulator previously known as bsnes has been updated recently.
Changes:
- This release adds auto-saving RAM support and a new tool to save per-game text notes. It also adds 64 new SNES PAL game verifications to the icarus database, courtesy of DoNotWant and Smarthuman.

The Dreamcast, the reason that DCEmu exists and i still have my portable Dreamcast the Treamcast after all these years, Dreamcast emulation is good these days, anyway heres the news via Emulation 64:

Heres a new release of a Sega Saturn Emulator for Windows thats new to me, heres the news via our pals at Emulation 64:
Nova is a Sega Saturn Emulator(SS Emulator) for Windows. Nova is capable to run several commercial games, but it's still in its early stage.
Features:
1.automatically select regions.
2.automatically select cartridge types by editing cart.json.
3.automatically save backup memory.
Nova doesn't support:
1.save/load states
2.run games via a CD drive

The guys over at out of print archive have released a new magazine digitalized for reading now and in the future, this magazine is for the Early Sega Consoles:
Originally released here at the start of 2015, issue 10 of Sega Pro just received the remaster treatment and thus, has never looked better. This issue dates back to the summer of 1992 and therefor has quite a bit of Game Gear content to keep you busy during that long vacation.
We found a lot of great stuff so it was hard to pick only four preview articles, so we ended up with eight instead. We have an abundance of Game Gear content up as a preview for this issue, so lets jump right in and take a look at the reviews for Prince of Persia, Klax, Popils and last but not least Marble Madness, all of which are for the Sega Game Gear.
Then we have a look at Batman for the Mega Drive, followed by the Friday the 13th inspired game Splatterhouse II, also for the Sega Mega Drive.

The guys over at out of print archive have released a new magazine digitalized for reading now and in the future, this magazine is for the Sega Saturn:
Due to a couple of setbacks it took a bit longer to get our next issue out. But we're slowly getting back on track and thus are happy to present you with the remastered version of issue number 4 of the Official Sega Saturn Magazine from February 1996.
We start our preview with perhaps the finest railgun shooter ever created: Panzer Dragoon Zwei, and move on to a horizontal 2D shooting game from another quality pedigree: Darius Gaiden by Taito.
After these two big hitters we look at reviews for two lesser known games for the system: the Sega arcade conversion Wing Arms and the flipper sim True Pinball.

higan is a multi-system emulator that began development on 2014-10-14.
It currently supports the following systems:

higan also supports the following Super Famicom subsystems:
• Super Game Boy
• BS-X Satellaview
• Sufami Turbo
Minimum System Requirements:
• Intel Core-series processor
• OpenGL 3.2-capable graphics card
• Windows XP+, OS X 10.7+, Linux 3.2+ or FreeBSD 10.0+
With this release, PC Engine, Master System, Game Gear, Mega Drive and the newly added SuperGrafx support are now quite usable! They're far from the best emulators for these systems, but with many bugfixes, full sound emulation, and save state support ... many games are now fully playable with decent accuracy.
The Game Boy Advance emulation is also now substantially improved with vastly improved sound quality and a new dot-based PPU renderer. With that change, every single component in higan is now cycle-based. Regrettably, these changes do carry a ~20% performance penalty compared to GBA emulation in v102.

• Super Famicom: use darker luma for INIDISP=0 (large improvement to Final Fantasy III opening)

• cheat code database regrettably removed from official releases; will be made available separately

I planned on making a simple “guess what it is” quiz, maybe with prizes, but it’s too easy and I’m too lazy to rename the files

In my ever state of catching up with news heres one sourced from dcemulation:
Hello my friends, it has been a long time!
As you all know, my project "In The Line Of Fire" was not successful on Kickstarter.
What you all may not be aware of is the circumstances behind the campaign, and the state of affairs during that time.
I began this project as a labor of love, with no deadline in mind; I simply wanted to create the very best Dreamcast game the homebrew community has ever seen.
When Wilson, the 3D artist and myself began working together, I was not fully aware of how desperate his financial situation was.
Truth be told, if I had really known his situation from the beginning, I would not have got involved with him at that point in time.
He was and is a very talented artist, but he was struggling financially, and that is a very dangerous thing when I consider my situation at that time.
I have never relied on "In The Line Of Fire" for financial reasons, but for him, this project was life or death.
Because of his financial situation, Wilson forced me to launch the KS campaign, even though I pleaded with him to wait until spring of this year to make more progress and establish more media presence.
As things turned out, I was very rushed and had little time to dedicate to the actual KS campaign.
When the project failed, Wilson abandoned the project, leaving me with no choice but to move on.
That said, this projects failure is nobody's fault but mine, and that has been a very hard thing for me to accept.
Even though the campaign failed, things did not turn out poorly for me; I was contacted with a job offer that I could not turn down.
Now, I am currently working as an IT Administrator, coding for multiple platforms, and making much more money than I was last year.
As a result, I have no time to continue focusing on development on the Dreamcast.
I have learned a lot in my time here, and I will always cherish the time spent coding for Dreamcast, and I will always appreciate the community here.
With that said, today I am releasing the last alpha build of "In The Line Of Fire" to the public, mainly for those who supported our campaign.
This build is from January 2nd of this year; the last time I wrote code for the Dreamcast.

This week we turn back the clock exactly 20 years to the summer of 1997 with the brand new digital rendition of the Official Sega Saturn Magazine issue 22. This issue is filled to the brim with excellent content, so much so that we put nearly half the magazine online in the form of preview articles. So let's get started!

Another dive into the history of Sega:
This time we look back again to Sega Pro with the newly remastered edition of issue 9 from July 1992.
We have a ton of previews for this issue, so let's get started. We begin with a special titled: Guide to Shoot 'Em Ups. Then we take a look at The Winter CES of 1992. We move on to reviews for Exile as well as Bart VS The Space Mutants, both of which are for the Mega Drive.
And then we look at two Game Gear reviews: Crystal Warriors and OutRun Europa before finishing off this update with the Master System review for Prince of Persia.

Heres more Sega news from both the Sega Saturn and Megadrive Days:
Today we return to the Official Sega Magazine with issue 18, where we get some more glimpses at the upcoming Sega Saturn games as well as a couple of top Mega Drive gems.
Our preview for this issue starts of with a feature on Alien Soldier for the Mega Drive, followed by the review for it as well. Then we take a look at two brilliant SNK fighting classics that made their way over to the Mega CD: Samurai Shodown and Fatal Fury Special.
Before we move on to the Saturn games, we take a closer look at the review of Knuckles' Chaotix for the 32X.
Now we turn our attention to Astal and Cyber Speedway, both on the Sega Saturn, before finishing up with a showcase on the arcade version of Virtua Fighter 2.
